2019 – A Record Year for Novicell UK

2019 has been an incredible year for Novicell in London. A lot of exciting projects came our way, and at the beginning of 2020, we will be moving into a new, bigger office with space for the new employees that are joining us next year.

A Year of Exciting Projects

In 2019, Novicell worked on a lot of exciting projects.

Novicell assisted the biotechnology company Albumedix in optimising their Umbraco site as part of a wider Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) project. The improved website went online at the end of November.

Besides building Umbraco platforms, Novicell has helped companies improve their digital performance. Excedo launched its B2B learning platform in February. A part of the collaboration with Novicell has been to build its online presence via paid advertising and international SEO. This helped Excedo gain visibility and drive traffic to their new site.

Novicell also helped British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM) develop their international marketing strategy and use YouTube and Facebook Marketing to raise brand awareness and attract new students. BIMM’s Group Head of Marketing, Tom Picken, said this about the collaboration:

They have generated some fantastic results for our clearing campaigns, a critical period in the academic year. I am extremely happy with the level of expertise and quality of digital actions conducted by Novicell’s marketing team.

We also partnered with Korea Tourism Organisation on an exciting project to help increase awareness of South Korea with YouTube and programmatic video advertising. Novicell helped KTO define their target demographics, KPIs and strategy to boost their international endeavours.

Record growth: Ten New Employees

Novicell London has been expanding rapidly with ten new additions to the team, making 2019 a record year. This also means that, once again, we will be moving to a bigger office. The additions to the Novicell family also mean we filled a lot of new roles within the company.

Our development team has three new developers, each of whom brings their own unique expertise to the table. We have also hired two more project managers to make sure that everything goes as planned within the development processes. Our sales and internal marketing team has strengthened to help Novicell UK reach out to exciting new clients in the UK. We also hired our first apprentice.

Our New Year’s Resolutions

We all know resolutions are hard to keep, but Novicell has big ambitions for 2020.

We are expecting another great year with even more exciting projects. Moreover, we are looking forward to adding even more highly competent skills to our team.

In January 2020, another two team members will be starting with us. Novicell’s first expatriate, Mikkel Stubkjær Keller, is joining our London office as our Head of Development after working for three years at Novicell’s Headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark. Our new Senior SEO Account Consultant, Darren Goldstein, will join our Digital Marketing and Strategy team to strengthen Novicell’s SEO skills.

We are also currently looking to fill several positions, namely: Digital Marketing Consultant, Frontend Developer and Quality Assurance Engineer. To see our vacancies in greater detail, click here.

Novicell wishes everyone Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.
