Sitecore Cloud integration with Microsoft Azure
On Tuesday 9 May, Sitecore publicly announced the combination of power from their digital marketing cloud with the speed and scale of Azure.
New Sitecore Managed Cloud
Before now, Sitecore has been deployed on an IaaS configuration. With this release from Sitecore, partners and customers can deploy Sitecore’s marketing platform on their Azure license in the new Sitecore Managed Cloud which is entirely hosted by Sitecore. The new managed cloud enables one to match demand and deploy with speed while reducing the cost of ownership.
Benefits of Sitecore Cloud on Azure
Faster marketing operations for marketers
Web content, analytics and personalisation capabilities across multiple channels are all available on Azure. With Azure, your IT can now deploy all your sites, content and campaigns within minutes.
Speed and familiarity
Deployments can now be made in less than 30 minutes, automatic scaling of CPU and RAM and completely automated and repeatable provisioning.
Delivering business results
Cost effective due to pay as you go metering. You don’t have to invest in an IT support team.
Sitecore Cloud can be deployed in less than 30 minutes with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templates for consistency and the delivery of digital experiences using pre-set structures.
Developers can see what the result of deployments will look like using “what you see is what you get” (WYSIWYG) style templates in Azure Marketplace to deploy Sitecore quickly.
Also, use the Marketplace to download Azure Search if you want to create an amazing search experience for your users. It takes away the burden of setting up and managing your search index, provides ranking models linking search to business goals and operates in multiple languages.
I can help you to integrate Microsoft Azure with Sitecore and any other Sitecore related projects as I have over 14 years of experience with Sitecore integrations and projects.
