UC SYD, University College South Denmark, is a tertiary education provider covering Southern Jutland in Denmark. The college has more than 6,500 students and over 700 members of staff in total, including many international students.
What we did
The primary goal of the collaboration was to attract more site visitors and, in turn, increase the number of campaign interactions, campus open day sign-ups and admission applications. We first established an ad flow with a broad marketing mix across each stage of the student decision-making process. This was supplemented by targeted advertising on various platforms.
With a solid understanding of the college’s desired audience, we implemented targeted advertising on various platforms. This meant that each ad was positioned in a way that reflected the specific traits, interests and behaviour of prospective students. For example, if someone visited a generic page about study environment, it is likely that they were not very far along in the buyer’s journey. Therefore, that person would be shown an advert aimed at encouraging active interest in the college. If that person had read the entire page and looked at admission requirements for a specific course, they would be sent an advert that matched their level of interest e.g., application closing date.
